1 min read

PPGMR Law announced Friday that it has hired former Deltic Timber Corp. Executive Jim Andrews Jr. He will work from the firm’s El Dorado office.

Andrews recently concluded a 17-year legal career at Deltic Timber, serving as vice president, general counsel and secretary for the last seven years. He was also part of the corporate management team that oversaw the billion-dollar merger of Deltic Timber Corporation with Potlatch Corporation to form PotlatchDeltic Corp. earlier this year.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson appointed Andrews to a four-year term on the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. He currently serves as a member of the advisory council to the Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University and as a member of the Society for Corporate Governance.

Andrews’ practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, property law, contracts, corporate governance, board counsel, economic development and other general business transactions.
