Presenting the 40 Under 40 Class of 2025

3 min read
Arkansas Business presented the first 40 Under 40 class 31 years ago.
As with that first class, our selection committee this year reviewed hundreds of nominations before settling on the honorees you’ll read about in the pages that follow.
We looked at the accomplishments of these young people in their professions and in their communities; we looked at each nominee’s propensity to lead and do outstanding things.
We believe the group recognized today is poised to lead and have a remarkable impact on our state during the next several decades.
They hail from all over the state, from Little Rock and Fayetteville to Magnolia and Searcy.
This year’s class includes bankers, lawyers, small-business owners, contractors, restaurateurs, doctors and one particularly enterprising innovator in the liquid waste disposal space.
If you’d like to meet and hear from this year’s 40 Under 40, we’re hosting a special luncheon on June 10 in downtown Little Rock. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit arkansasbusiness.com/event/40/.
I’ve already had the privilege of speaking with many in this year’s class. They talked a lot about grit, determination and perseverance, about gratefulness and giving back, about innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit.
It will be a joy to watch the impact this group has as they fulfill their ambitions and become tomorrow’s top business leaders.
Just as with that first class, which included names like Makris, Stephens and Murphy, I expect we’ll look back in a decade or two and recognize many of the names.
They will impact our workplaces and our industries, but I expect their imprints on our communities to be just as great.
We’re in good hands.
