2 min read

Grant Crawford has been named CFO of Priority1, a transportation and logistics company based in Little Rock.

“From a growth standpoint, the fantastic track record that P1 has established already is just scratching the surface to what we can do long term, and I can’t wait to be part of leading us into the bright future we have,” Crawford said in a press release.

Crawford worked for FedEx for 23 years on both the ground and freight sides. Eighteen of those years were spent on the freight side, where he started as an hourly dock worker and moved up into 12 different roles, including managing terminals in Charleston, South Carolina; Tampa, Florida; Toledo, Ohio; and St. Louis. He was director of operations for 19 terminals in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York and Maryland. Crawford led the expansion of FedEx Freight into Canada, ultimately serving as vice president of international operations for seven years.

He also was president of Roadrunner Freight for three years and most recently served as president of Emerge, a logistics company based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
