
Pulaski County Medical Society
Dr. Amir Qureshi has been elected president of the Pulaski County Medical Society for 2018.
Other officers are Dr. Joshua Chance, president-elect; Dr. Kay Chandler, vice president; and Dr. David King, secretary-treasurer. Dr. Kristen Lienhart is immediate past president.
Sheryl Davis has been named director of home health at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Davis has been with Washington Regional for 29 years and previously was administrative director of surgical services. In 2014 Davis was the first recipient of the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing Outstanding Alumnus Award presented by the University of Arkansas.
James Roundtree has been named director of surgical services at Washington Regional. Roundtree was previously clinical director of surgical services, and he is a captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.
Jennifer Neumann recently joined Washington Regional as director of hospice services. Neumann previously was administrator at Legacy Village Assisted Living in Bentonville.
Dr. Alexis McCollum, a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, has joined Willow Creek Women’s Clinic in Johnson (Washington County).
She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where she also completed a residency.
Dr. Ron Varghese, an internal medicine resident at White River Medical Center in Batesville, has been named to the 2018 class of the Future Leaders Advancing Research in Endocrinology program.
The FLARE program provides leadership development and hands-on training opportunities to science and clinical research trainees.
