Pulaski County Set to Open State’s Largest Inclusive Playground

1 min read

Pulaski County plans to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony next week for a new $1.4 million inclusive playground that it says is the largest of its kind in Arkansas.

The 64,000-SF playground at Two Rivers Park features an open-air pavilion, paths connecting to existing facilities in the park and rubber and turf surfaces ensuring no physical barriers for people using wheelchairs. It’s located at 6722 Two Rivers Park Road.

“Children of all abilities and their families will have a place to gather and play, to build friendships, and to foster a sense of belonging and togetherness,” Pulaski County Judge Barry Hyde said in a news release.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for May 12 at 10 a.m.
