Shannon Boshears
Pulaski Technical College has turned to a Little Rock-based nonprofit organization to find its next chief development officer and executive director of the college’s foundation.
Pulaski Tech announced Tuesday that Shannon Boshears is the college’s new chief development officer and executive director of the Pulaski Tech College Foundation. In the position, she will head the foundation’s strategic fundraising efforts.
Boshears started Monday with a $90,000 salary, according to Pulaski Tech.
Boshears, who has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit, comes from Heifer International where she most recently served as director of community and public affairs and oversaw global strategies for public relations, social media, celebrity engagement and fundraising events. Before that role, she was director of development, marketing and communications at Heifer Foundation.
The Pulaski Tech Foundation is chartered as a nonprofit for educational purposes and is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving agency for the college.
