Little Rock Startup Hires Venture Center Exec

RaftUp Technologies of Little Rock announced Monday the hiring of Jessica Johnston-Myers as its COO.

Johnston-Myers previously worked at the Venture Center of Little Rock, as director of programs and operations. While there, she created entrepreneurial programs, including the cybersecurity-themed capture the flag competition called JOLT, and created external program support for public entities, including the Delta Regional Authority’s Delta Entrepreneurship Network.

RaftUp Technologies is a software development company that provides technical solutions that increase safety and social utility for boaters, recreational businesses, public safety agencies and outdoor enthusiasts. 

The company launched its mobile application in 2016. The app uses location services, like GPS and Google Maps, to create an interactive map with marine-related information that is accessible while on the water.
