Razorclean Closes Case Against O.J.’s

Just as the Razorclean Maids Inc. lawsuit against O.J.’s Service Two Inc. of North Little Rock was about to get dirty with O.J.’s discovery requests, Razorclean asked that the case be withdrawn.

Razorclean’s attorney, Tré Kitchens of Little Rock, declined to say why the case was dismissed or if it was going to be refiled.

O.J.’s attorney, Tiffany Flock, of Katy, Texas, said O.J.’s had asked for documents from Razorclean of North Little Rock and wanted its owner, former Arkansas Razorback Madre Hill, to sit for a deposition.

“We understand why it was nonsuited, because [Hill] didn’t want to supply us with the requested documentation, … nor do we think that he wanted to show up to a deposition,” said Flock, who is the daughter of O.J.’s owner Charles Hinson.

As you recall, Razorclean sued the janitorial service company and Hinson over allegations that O.J.’s interfered with Razorclean’s contract. Earlier this year, Razorclean won a bid and was awarded a contract to clean the Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department’s 11-floor, approximately 110,000-SF headquarters and other property.

O.J.’s had held the contract, and when it lost the bid, it launched an investigation into Razorclean.

O.J.’s said it found evidence that allegedly showed Razorclean didn’t meet the requirements to win the bid for the Highway Department. O.J.’s asked the Highway Department to toss the contract with Razorclean and award it to the lowest qualified bidder, which was O.J.’s.

When the Highway Department didn’t reverse its decision about the contract, O.J.’s went to Pulaski County Circuit Court and petitioned a judge to void the contract with Razorclean and award it to O.J.’s. That case is pending.
