Education
Andrea Cole has been appointed associate vice chancellor for institutional advancement at Arkansas State University-Beebe. Cole, who had served on an interim basis for the past several months, previously was the development officer for major gifts.
Bryan Fisher, the associate vice president for advancement at Arkansas Tech University of Russellville, has been named interim vice president for advancement at Arkansas Tech and interim executive vice president of the ATU Foundation of Russellville. Fisher will replace Jason Geiken, who resigned effective Dec. 5.
Suzanne McCall has been promoted to vice president for administration and finance at Arkansas Tech University. McCall had served as ATU interim vice president for administration and finance since June.
Nate Olsen has been hired as associate athletic director for communications at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Dr. Burke Soffe, founding dean of the Lyon College School of Dental Medicine, and Dr. Gerald Davis, associate dean of academic affairs of the school, were named fellows of the American College of Dentists of Rockville, Maryland.

Patrick Zondervan has been appointed executive director of the Little Rock regional office of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Marcy Doderer, Arkansas Children’s president and CEO, has been awarded the Sasha & Terry Freeman Endowed Chair in Healthcare Administration & Executive Leadership by Terry and Sasha Freeman of Russellville. The pair donated $1 million to establish the endowed chair, and it has been matched by a $1 million grant from the Arkansas Children’s legacy match campaign.
Dr. Nikki Donaldson has been hired at the Lonoke Dental Center, a branch of Arkansas Dental Centers.
Traci Baker has been appointed chief nursing officer of Levi Hospital of Hot Springs.

Stephens earned his wireless specialist certification from the Society of Cable Technology Engineers of Exton, Pennsylvania, and a technician certification from Alarm.com of Tysons, Virginia, leading to the promotion.
