Coulson Oil Co. Inc. of North Little Rock, led by Mike Coulson, has purchased a 3-acre site in North Little Rock’s NorthShore Business Park for $430,521.
The site is on the west side of Northshore Lane, between Northshore Place and Northshore Drive. The company plans to build its new corporate headquarters there.
The seller was Pfeifer Family LP of Little Rock, led by Gene Pfeifer.
Site Sold
Newview Investment Properties LLC of Little Rock, led by Rick Ferguson, has sold a 1-acrea site near the northeast corner of Otter Creek and Stagecoach roads in Little Rock for $365,000.
The buyer was O’Reilly Automotive Stores Inc. of Springfield, Missouri.
Shooting Range Bought
Blue Rock Sportsman’s Club Inc. of Benton purchased a 39.83-acre private, nonprofit and shotgun-only skeet shooting range at 7800 Baucum Pike.
The seller was the city of North Little Rock, and the purchase price was $95,094.
The club had been leasing the land from the city but recently approached the city about purchasing it, Mayor Joe Smith told Arkansas Business.
He explained that the land is in the floodway, so the city couldn’t build anything permanent there or use it for wastewater treatment operations. There is a North Little Rock wastewater facility less than five miles from the site.
But the club utlizes mostly temporary structures and equipment that can be taken off the site when the river is expected to flood it, Smith said.
Money the city gained from the purchase will be used to fund wastewater operations, he added.
