A Little Rock real estate investor paid $3.4 million for almost 9 acres in Bentonville, a few blocks south of the headquarters of Walmart Inc.
Drew Holbert, the manager of Redbud Holdings LLC, bought the three plots on South Walton Boulevard. The largest lot is slightly more than 5.5 acres and the two adjacent lots are 2.5 and 0.66 acres.
Holbert received a loan of $1.4 million from First National Bank of Paragould to complete the deal. Holbert is a principal and vice president of brokerage at Colliers International in Little Rock.
The seller was Bentonville Plaza Land LLC, a subsidiary of Square Deal Invest-ment Management of Oklahoma City. The LLC is led by Mark Beffort, the CEO of Robinson Park, which owns the Bentonville Plaza office building across the street from the Walmart headquarters.
Beffort’s company acquired the properties for $2 million in 2016.
