Ritter Communications, the expanding telecommunications company based in Jonesboro, announced a $2.5 million extension of high-speed fiber telecom and cloud computing offerings to businesses and schools in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Ritter, the largest privately held telecom provider exclusively serving the Midsouth, said in a news release that the new services offer 100% fiber connectivity and XGS-PON technology to the northwest Tennessee community about 80 miles north of Memphis.
“Ritter Communications understands that organizations of all sizes need high-quality telecom services to be successful in today’s digital world,” Ritter CEO Alan Morse said in a statement. “The services and solutions Ritter Communications offers help businesses connect with customers and ensure local schools are helping their students thrive.”
Ritter can connect schools and businesses with internet speeds up to 100 gigabits per second. In addition, customers have access to the Ritter Communications Data Technology Center, a highly secure facility equipped with local customer support teams, offering cloud computing to meet businesses’ data security and storage needs.
“The investment by Ritter Communications in Dyersburg adds to the broadband capacity and services available to our citizens,” Dyersburg Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Slater Barr said in a news release. “The services they provide create further options for both new and existing businesses in our community.”
Ritter Communications serves more than 123 communities and nearly 50,000 customers in Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
