Ritter Communications of Jonesboro has invested $3.5 million to bring high-speed fiber-optic telecommunication systems to Centerton, a growing city of about 20,000 in Benton County, the company announced this week.
Ritter, the largest privately held telecom provider serving the Mid-South exclusively, said its new offering in Centerton, branded RightFiber, offers some of the fastest residential internet services available. Internet, television and phone services with speeds up to 5 gigabytes will be available in some neighborhoods, according to a Ritter news release.
“We’re excited to expand RightFiber into the Centerton area alongside the full suite of reliable 100% fiber business telecom services we’ve offered in Northwest Arkansas for the last few years,” Ritter Communications CEO Alan Morse said in a statement. “Families looking for dependable, high-speed internet will have the ability to choose the speed and services that best meet the needs of their home at affordable rates.”
Centerton Mayor Bill Edwards said the services Ritter is offering “will ensure families have the access they need to learn and play.”
Residents are urged to check availability in their neighborhoods at RightFiber.com.
The company will use door tags, yard signs, mail and door-to-door visits to notify residents in initial construction areas, the release said.
