1 min read

Ritter Communications of Jonesboro has invested $4 million into a fiber internet infrastructure project in Jacksonville.

The project will give Jacksonville residents access to RightFiber, which is a brand of Ritter Communications. It is expected to be completed later this year.

RightFiber’s network offers customers broadband solutions that power up to five gigabytes of speed for homes. A press release from Ritter also stated that the network is “capable of adapting to future advances in technology and evolving customer demands.”

“Since 2016, Ritter Communications has been a trusted partner to the Jacksonville business community by delivering the most advanced fiber internet services. The way we live and work continues to evolve, and staying connected at home is more important than ever,” Ritter Communications CEO Heath Simpson said in the release. “We’re excited to extend that same commitment to excellence with RightFiber, bringing the best internet technology to Jacksonville families so they can work, learn and enjoy entertainment without limits in this growing community.”

The company also donated $10,000 to the One City Initiative, which provides Thanksgiving-style meals to families in November.

“We’re grateful for RightFiber’s investment, which provides current and future residents of Jacksonville with quality internet access,” Jacksonville Mayor Jeff Elmore said in the press release. “This expansion supports our city’s ongoing growth and enhances the quality of life for our residents.”
