Robert Bahn of Jonesboro was honored as a 2019 state star at the 39th annual America’s Small Business Development Centers conference in Long Beach, California.
Bahn is a business consultant at the Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center at Arkansas State University.
He has been with the center since 2009 and helps potential and current small-business owners with business planning, market research and funding.
Shelby Fiegel has been named the director of the Center of Community & Economic Development at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Fiegel will oversee the Community Development Institute and the development of training and technical assistance programs for Arkansas communities and of external partnerships that will further the university’s outreach and engagement goals.
