Rock Dental Brands of Little Rock has acquired 10 clinics across Arkansas and Missouri, including a location in Kansas City, the company announced Wednesday.
Financial details of the transactions were not disclosed.
The company, which has been in growth mode for years, completed the acquisitions in separate deals over the past few months, bringing the total number of Rock Dental clinics to 94 across three states.
The Missouri clinics acquired include two locations of Bowen Orthodontics in Rolla and St. Roberts; five locations of Moore Orthodontics in Lee’s Summit, Grandview, Pleasant Hill, Nevada and Butler; and two locations of Burleson Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry located in Kansas City and Raymore.
Dr. Dustin Burleson of Burleson Orthodontics said in a news release that joining Rock Dental will “transform dental care for patients of all ages who seek a lifetime of quality care.”
“Joining Rock Dental Brands provides an unprecedented opportunity for our patients, providers and employees,” he said.
The Arkansas clinic announced in the acquisition is Hall Orthodontics of Hot Springs.
Rock Dental Brands CEO Kristi Crum said the move into new markets has energized the company. In July, it announced the acquisition of nine clinics across Tennessee, Arkansas and Missouri.
“As we expand, Rock Dental Brands is dedicated to bringing world-class dental health professionals who specialize in providing the highest standard of treatment and care to more patients,” Crum said.
Rock Dental was founded in 1986 with two orthodontic clinics. The practices operated as a small, privately owned business until 2012, when a company was formed to manage and operate them.
It has since grown to provide support to affiliated dentists and dental specialists, including Westrock Orthodontics, Leap Kids Dental, Rock Family Dental and Impact Oral Surgery.
