Rock Dental Brands Continues Growth with New Arkansas AcquisitionLock Icon

1 min read

Rock Dental Brands of Little Rock plans another acquisition at the end of the month, this one in Arkansas, its CEO, Kristi Casey, tells your Whispers staff.

You can read about Rock Dental’s growth, helped along by a $90 million cash infusion late last year, in the article about last year’s biggest deals in Arkansas.

Casey said the funding “gives us resources to accelerate growth, to invest in cutting-edge technology and enhance our patient care.”

With that new funding, Rock Dental added two new clinic partnerships in Birmingham, Alabama.

Rock Dental, which currently has 109 affiliated clinics in five states — Arkansas, Alabama, Missouri, Tennessee and Florida — has been strategic about its growth, Casey said. “We’ve been very disciplined over the last couple of years, which has enabled us to have more capital and go out and build,” she said, “so our investors are saying to us, ‘We like what you’ve done. We like how disciplined you’ve been. Here’s more. Go grow.’”

Casey said the right partnerships were more important than growing for growth’s sake, but “we have built a whole new M&A team and invested capital there to help them go grow,” adding, “We have a rock star team.”
