Dr. Monica Rojas has been hired as medical director-international medicine and cultural education for the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith.
Rojas previously served as a family physician at Mission Activation in Costa Rica. She also has more than 20 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations in at-risk communities in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico.
Chelsea Sullivan Mathews has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle issues. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in the UAMS College of Medicine.
Mathews earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. She completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at UAMS and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Washington.
Dr. Sai Aruna Sri Malladi and Dr. Sahithi Pothuganti have joined UAMS in Little Rock as family medicine specialists. They will be practicing at UAMS Health Neighborhood Clinic in west Little Rock.
Malladi completed a residency in family medicine at UAMS and earned her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Family & Preventive Medicine.
Pothuganti also completed a residency in family medicine at UAMS and earned her medical degree from the Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences in Narketpally, India.
She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Family & Preventive Medicine in the UAMS College of Medicine.
Jeremy Hawkins has joined Community Insurance Professionals in Batesville as an insurance professional.
Hawkins has 13 years of experience in the insurance industry and is licensed in health, life, property and casualty insurance.
