Kris Upton
RPM Group of Little Rock on Monday said its board of directors had appointed Kris Upton as chairman of the board and CEO.
The appointment was effective April 4.
Upton joined the real estate agency in 2003 and became president in 2013.
Pete Hornibrook, the company’s previous chairman and CEO, has become chairman emeritus. The company said he will continue with the firm as an executive broker in the commercial sales division.
“Today’s pace of change is accelerating and our next CEO needs to thrive in this environment,” Hornibrook said in a news release. “Kris has a unique ability to translate vision and strategy into first class value and service for our clients, employees and associates.”
RPM Group subsidiaries include RPM Commercial Inc., RPM Management Co. Inc. and Coldwell Banker RPM Group, the company’s residential sales division.
The company also said that Robin Miller had been appointed chief operations officer of RPM Group. She will continue working as president of Coldwell Banker RPM Group.
Rick Freeling, senior vice president of RPM Group, was named president of RPM’s sales division.
