Rumors Rumble Over Layoffs at CJRW

There was much ado in some media and marketing circles last week over potential layoffs at Little Rock’s Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods.

Several operatives contacted your Whispers staff about rumblings that some cuts were made to staff with more to come late last week.

So, of course, we asked. And the agency did not deny that layoffs were in the works, but did release the following statement from President Darin Gray:

“As a matter of policy we don’t comment on specific personnel issues,” Gray said. “What I will say is that we keep a close eye on resources needed to best serve our clients and adjust as appropriate. The fact is we’ve added a number of new clients in recent weeks. That growth has prompted us to reallocate some resources and has resulted in an overall increase in our professional staff.”
