Sage Health Opens Second Senior Care Clinic in Central Arkansas

1 min read

Sage Health of Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday opened its second senior-focused clinic in central Arkansas.

The location in Bryant at 1800 N. Reynolds Rd. follows the opening of a clinic in North Little Rock at 6929 JFK Blvd. in October. A third clinic is scheduled to open early next year in Little Rock at 410 S. University Ave.

In a news release, Sage Health said the clinics are “designed specifically to serve patients in their home communities and address and manage the multiple chronic conditions that may affect their quality of life.”

“Seniors often have complex medical and social needs, and it takes time to fully address those,” Michael Davidson, Sage Health chief medical officer, said in the release. “It’s important that patients have the opportunity to fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options and know they are not alone in their health journey.”

Physicians and staff are specially trained in senior care and each center is equipped with diagnostics and treatments for chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, kidney disease, stroke and Alzheimer’s.

The clinics also have activity rooms and spaces to offer social activities, fitness programs, nutrition programs, mental health services and community service opportunities.

Earlier this year, Sage Health announced plans to open 11 senior health and wellness centers across four states: Alabama, Arkansas, Maryland and Mississippi.
