Second Fuel Accelerator to Launch This Month

The second Fuel Accelerator program, led by RevUnit in Bentonville and Startup Junkie in Fayetteville, will launch this month. 

It will be the state’s first artificial intelligence and machine learning accelerator, as the first Fuel Accelerator was focused on supply chain technologies.

This year’s program will provide regular, hands-on education and workshops 14 companies from across the U.S., Europe and Asia. Eight companies participated in last year’s 16-week program.

The 14 companies will spend 12 weeks in northwest Arkansas, and gain access to other startup founders, industry experts, institutions of higher education and public policy officials.

The program is sponsored in part by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.

“The Fuel Accelerator is a great way for entrepreneurs to gain valuable contacts and skills needed to advance their companies through growth and expansions,” AEDC Director Mike Preston said in a news release. “And, in turn, it allows us to promote Arkansas as the ideal location for up-and-coming tech companies to call home.”

The companies chosen for this year’s program are:

• Commerce.AI of Sunnyvale, California;

• Curie of Seattle;

• DriveTrust of Rennes, France;

• Inferencery of Bentonville;

• issac.ai of Little Rock;

• Journey Foods of Chicago;

• Sorcero of Washington, D.C.; 

• SummerizeBot of Latvia, Belarus and South Korea;

• swivl of Denver; 

• TPS Engage of New York, Romania, Dubai and South Korea;

• Truckish of Memphis;

• Unmanned Life of San Francisco and London; and

• Vocinity of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

The companies offer technology ranging from food innovation to digital commerce, customer success, human resource, AdTech, supply chain optimization, legal and automated insight discovery, according to the release.
