Shannon Boshears will lead fundraising efforts for the Pulaski Technical College Foundation, the fundraising and private gift-receiving agency for the college. The foundation solicits and receives tax-deductible gifts and manages these gifts and bequests for the benefit of the college.
Before coming to Pulaski Tech, Boshears was director of community and public affairs at Heifer International. In that post, she directed the global strategies for public relations, social media, celebrity engagement and fundraising events. Boshears previously served as director of development, marketing and communications at Heifer Foundation, the organization that oversees the endowment that helps support Heifer International. Before joining Heifer, she was the marketing specialist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Boshears received a bachelor’s degree in journalism/public information from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has received more than 30 awards from the International Association of Business Communicators and the Arkansas Advertising Federation.
