Sheena Howell Steps Up to Development Director at UALR College of Business (Movers & Shakers)

Sheena Howell, who has worked as director of development for Trojan Athletics at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for the past year, has been named director of development and external relations for UALR’s College of Business.


Laura Wattles has been promoted to creative director of the marketing and communications office at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. She has served as interim director of UAFS marketing since August and was previously a graphic designer in the same office for four years.


Alison Harrill, an assistant professor in the department of environmental and occupational health at the Boozman College of Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, has received the Society of Toxicology Board of Publications Award for the Best Paper for a paper she co-wrote on adverse drug reactions.


Craig Russell, director of public safety at Harding University in Searcy, has been appointed senior regional vice president of the American Society for Industrial Security School of Safety & Security Council. ASIS International has approximately 40,000 members in 230 chapters worldwide, and Russell will oversee four regions that include seven states and 20 chapters.
