Shuttered Joubert’s Tavern Sells For $342K

Henry Willmuth, through 7303 Kanis LLC, recently purchased the 7,500-SF Joubert’s Tavern at 7303 Kanis Road in Little Rock for $342,250. 

The sellers were Gerard and Kathy Joubert. Their iconic bar with burgers and billiards closed last month after 36 years in business. 

Willmuth did not return calls from Arkansas Business. 

New Bar & Restaurant Opens

Ramacoop Management LLC, led by Srinivasan Ramaswamy and Jay Cooper, has purchased the 10,502-SF property at 614 Center Street for $950,000.

The seller was Richardson Properties LLC, led by Keith Richardson.

The first-floor tenants are Pinnacle Hotel Group and Lagniappe @ 610, a bar and restaurant that opened there earlier this week. There are five apartments on the second floor. 

School District Sells Property

Community Health Centers of Arkansas has purchased Franklin Elementary School at 1701 S. Harrison St. from the Little Rock School District. 

The purchase price? $895,000. 

Wendy’s Sold

Hamra Realty LLC, led by Carolyn Hamra, has purchased a Wendy’s fast food restaurant at 120 Carnahan Drive in Maumelle for $875,000. 

The seller of the 1.02-acre property was McNeely-Eubanks Enterprises of Dublin, Ohio.

Gas Station Expansion

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has purchased five adjoining acres on the east side of Love’s Travel Stop at 11801 Interstate 40 in North Little Rock for $500,000.

The seller was Lena Belle Young Stafford Limited Partnership.

Kealey Dorian, supervisor of media for Love’s, said the company is expanding its truck parking lot and putting in a new truck tire care building, but it is still in the design phase and Love’s doesn’t have a construction timeline yet. 

Land Purchase

C & P Land & Realty LLC, led by Angelo Coppola and Paul Phelps, has purchased 39.6 acres near the southeast corner of Interstate 430 and David O. Dodd Road for $275,000. 

The seller was Tucker Living Trust, led by June Tucker.
