Siloam Springs Resale Company NR Group Faces BankruptcyLock Icon

A resale consumer products company based in Siloam Springs recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation and listed $8.08 million in debt. 

Founded in 2010, The NR Group Inc. listed $1.1 million in assets, according to its April 1 filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Arkansas.

The NR Group touted itself as having partnered with some of the company’s largest retailers and distributors to market and resale consumer products.

In 2023, the company’s gross revenue was $13.7 million, up from $12.2 million a year earlier. 

But in the first three months of this year, it reported $651,812 in gross revenue. 

The total amount of nonpriority and unsecured claims total $5.6 million.

The value of inventory and goods held for resale is $1 million, the company said.  

The company also did business as: Big Deal On The Hill, Dollarhog, Dollarhog.net,  Nexus Resale, Nexusresale.com. The NR Group is represented by attorney M. Randy Rice of Little Rock. 

Chad Hudson, president, owns 49% of the company. His salary was $98,125, according to the filing. Valeri Hudson owns 51% of The NR Group, and her salary was listed at $9,157. 

Chad Hudson also is a creditor. The company owes him $250,000 for a loan he made to the business, according to the filing. 

Chad Hudson couldn’t be reached for comment and his attorney didn’t immediately return a call for comment.
