Simmons Breaks Ground on New Jonesboro Branch

1 min read

Simmons Bank of Pine Bluff announced it has started construction on a new branch in Jonesboro at 1720 S. Caraway Road.

Work on the nearly 20,000-SF branch is projected to be completed in late 2024. The full-service location will provide a three-lane drive-thru access as well as an ATM with deposit capabilities, Simmons said in a news release.

The branch will also have mortgage and business loan capabilities and provide personal and business financial services.

Architecturally, the financial center is one the first prototypes for Simmons Bank, and it will be used to remodel existing branches and build new financial centers across the bank’s six-state footprint.

Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects of Little Rock is the architectural firm of record and McClelland Consulting Engineers Inc. of Little Rock serves as the engineering firm for the project.

Flynco Inc. of Little Rock will serve as the general contractor for the project.
