Slabaugh Wins Stock-Picking Title; Edward Jones Hires Six

Will Slabaugh of Stephens Inc. in Little Rock won the 2015 Best Restaurant Stock Pick Competition sponsored by IRC, a strategic communications and advisory firm.

Slabaugh’s pick for 2015 was Chuy’s Holdings Inc., whose stock value rose nearly 60 percent during the contest.

Brooks Browning, Amy Byford, Ryan Eagle, Marlena Supina, Clinton Kreie and Chris Sexton have joined Edward Jones in Arkansas as financial advisers.

Browning works in the Kavanaugh Boulevard office in Little Rock, and Byford works on Rahling Circle in Little Rock. Eagle works in Stuttgart, Supina in Sherwood, Kreie in Maumelle and Sexton in Bryant.
