Slim Chickens will open a new location in front of Mellow Mushroom and next to Chuy’s on Chenal Parkway in Little Rock, Haag Brown Commercial announced on Thursday.
The project will cost more than $2 million, and Haag Brown Development is doing a build-to-suit on an outparcel for Slim Chickens. The firm owns the shopping center.
The 2,400-SF restaurant will feature a new, modern design with a lighted outdoor patio and full-service drive-through. It will also have easy access from all three of the area’s major traffic ways: Chenal Parkway, Kanis Road and Kirk Road, according to a new release.
The restaurant will be part of the former Kroger development on Chenal Parkway, which is now home to Marshall’s, the Fit Factory and 5 Below.
Construction is set to begin soon, and the Slim Chickens is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2019.
