1 min read

Southwestern Energy Co. of Houston is aiming to increase awareness of compressed natural gas as vehicle fuel by giving 21 of its employees CNG-powered vehicles and home refueling devices.

Twelve of the employees are from Arkansas. The group was chosen randomly from employees who signed up for the program.

Each will receive a Chevrolet Tahoe, a Chevrolet Silverado, a GMC Yukon or a GMC Sierra.

Southwestern will also unveil a program providing incentives for employees to convert their existing vehicles to CNG.

Southwestern President and CEO Steve Mueller will announce the winners and discuss the conversion program at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Agora Conference & Special Event Center, 705 E. Siebenmorgan Road, Conway.
