Sowell Management Launches Insurance Affiliate

Private investment adviser Sowell Management LLC of North Little Rock announced the launch of its insurance affiliate, Sowell Insurance Services, a move that the firm says will drive growth and bring value to investors.

“Our long-term roadmap has always included a comprehensive insurance platform,” Bill Sowell, the firm’s founder and CEO, said in a news release. “This month that became a reality with the launch of Sowell Insurance Services, which includes access to life insurance, annuities, long-term care and disability insurance.”

The new insurance agency has partnered with Griffin Distribution Partners of Raleigh, North Carolina, which will provide Sowell advisors with access to a network of affiliated carriers and reinsurers, supported by specialized underwriting and new business teams.

Sowell said the partnership will equip its advisers with a wider array of customized products to meet clients’ needs.

Sowell Management, founded in 2001, has $4.4 billion in assets under management.
