Speaking of Sparks Health System, did you know that Dan McKay recently announced that he was leaving his CEO position?
He took a job as president and CEO at Ephraim McDowell Health of Danville, Kentucky. His first day in his new position will be July 16.
The move “offers career growth and the opportunity to move closer to family,” Alicia Agent, a spokeswoman for Sparks, said in an email to Whispers. His last day is July 15.
McKay joined Sparks in 2014. “During his tenure, the two-hospital network has steadily grown the number of services available to residents in this area and improved satisfaction scores among patients, physicians and employees,” Agent said.
Brandon Bullard, who is currently the market chief financial officer, will be interim CEO until a replacement can be found.
