Justin Yancey of St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro | Allyson Weedn Moulton of Sparks Health System in Fort Smith.
Dr. Justin Yancey has joined the medical staff of St. Bernards Healthcare as a pediatric hospitalist.
In addition to caring for pediatric inpatients, Yancey will serve as a resource to other hospital services, including the emergency department and surgical services. He also will work with University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences family practice residents in the Area Health Education Center-Northeast and students studying at the New York Institute of Technology osteopathic school, set to open on the Arkansas State University campus in the fall.
Yancey, a Helena native, earned his medical degree from UAMS in Little Rock in 2011 and completed a residency in pediatrics at Georgia Regents University (formerly Medical College of Georgia).
Dr. Allyson Weedn Moulton has returned to her hometown of Fort Smith to join Sparks Health System as a surgeon. She will work with Drs. C. Michael Gooden and Laurence Lo at Surgical Associates of Fort Smith. A fifth-generation surgeon, Moulton was trained at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and Virginia Tech Carilion.
Melinda Faubel, director of external affairs for AT&T Arkansas and the AT&T Foundation liaison for Arkansas, is one of seven new members of the advisory board for the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Other new board members include the following:
- Steve Jones, senior vice president and director of water services for Garver in North Little Rock
- Jayme Mayo, a physician assistant who works as the in-house medical provider and wellness director at Nabholz Construction of Conway
- Martha Jane Murray, an architect and director of the Clinton Climate Initiative’s Home Energy Affordability Loan program
- Denver Peacock, an attorney and principal of The Peacock Group, a public affairs and public relations firm in Little Rock
- David Rainey, a former state representative and former superintendent of the Dumas School District
- Greg Ramon, CEO of Little Rock Wastewater
