St. Bernards, UnitedHealthcare Announce Network Relationship

St. Bernards Healthcare in northeast Arkansas and UnitedHealthcare have established a new network relationship, giving Arkansans enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans access to St. Bernards Healthcare physicians and care facilities, effective Feb. 1.

“St. Bernards Healthcare is an important community partner and offers the people served by UnitedHealthcare greater choice and access to quality, cost-effective care,” Gregg Kunemund, CEO of UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement in Arkansas, said in a news release. “We are grateful for the collaborative relationships we share with care providers like St. Bernards Healthcare who are committed to improving the quality and cost of care.”

In Arkansas, UnitedHealthcare serves more than 320,000 people enrolled in Medicare and employer-sponsored/individual health plans with a network of 86 hospitals and more than 10,000 physicians and other care providers statewide.
