1 min read

Allen North, former vice president of the Federal Reserve Board of St. Louis, has joined Little Rock’s DD&F Consulting Group as a managing principal.

North will eventually open a new DD&F office in St. Louis but for now will work out of the bank consulting firm’s Little Rock office in areas of risk management, regulatory and compliance.

Before joining DD&F, North worked as a vice president in banking supervision, credit, community development and learning innovation with the Federal Reserve in St. Louis.

During his 18-year career at the Federal Reserve Bank, he served in a number of capacities within this division and possesses a broad range of community bank supervision experience. North also has two years of community banking experience working in lending and special assets

He graduated from Kentucky’s Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1993 and earned a Federal Reserve System examiner commission in 1997. North is married and has three sons.

"With his in-depth  knowledge of regulatory and compliance as well as the relationships  he has built during his tenure with the Fed,  he will be an invaluable addition to our team as we help community banks navigate the changes that are affecting the banking landscape," said Randy Dennis, president of DD&F.
