1 min read

Startup Junkie of Fayetteville is partnering with the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency for the upcoming Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.

Part of the Startup Junkie Asia program, Startup Junkie has been collaborating with the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, or KOTRA, to help South Korean-based startups prepare to enter the American market. At the Consumer Electronics Show, which begins Tues., Jan 9 through Fri., Jan. 12, Startup Junkie and KOTRA will host a K-Innovation Day that includes a pitch event where Korean companies will showcase their business ventures.

K-Innovation Day will also feature a panel discussion led by KOTRA-Silicon Valley. It will conclude with a networking event inside the Venetian Resort Hotel’s Stella Studio.

KOTRA is a South Korean government agency that operates over 120 offices across more than 80 countries, including seven offices in the U.S. The agency promotes trade and investment between South Korea and other countries through various programs, including investment support, market research, and trade consultation services.

Startup Junkie began collaborating with South Korean partners in 2020 to provide “a gateway of opportunities for proof-of-concept product trials” in 2020, the organization said in a news release.

During the Consumer Electronics Show, Startup Junkie will join KOTRA and South Korean startups at the Korean Pavilion in the Eureka Park sections of the international expo floor. Eureka Park is the showcase area designated for rising startups and founders worldwide.
