Steve Jonsson Takes GM Duties for Signal Media Stations in Little Rock

1 min read

Steve Jonsson, vice president of Signal Media and general manager of Little Rock sports station KABZ-FM, 103.7 (The Buzz), on Monday took on the additional role of general manager for Signal Media’s two other Little Rock-market stations.

Jonsson replaced Randy Bush, who was general manager of classic rock station KKPT-FM, 94.1 (The Point) and R&B and oldies station KHLR-FM, 106.7 (Heartbeat) for about 18 months.

Signal Media laid off Bush as a cost-cutting measure, Jonsson said. Bush’s final day was Friday.

Jonsson has worked for Signal Media since 2003 and is the son of the media company’s owner, Philip Jonsson.
