Steven Plaisance of Tulsa has been named CEO for Arvest Mortgage Co. and Central Mortgage Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Arvest Bank, the company announced Monday.

Plaisance replaces Bill Roehrenbeck, who left the position to join PNC Bank of Wilmington, Delaware.

Plaisance, who has been president of both Arvest Mortgage and Central Mortgage since March 2012,  began his career with Arvest as a part-time teller in Rogers in 1989. He joined Arvest Mortgage in 1991 and has held a variety of leadership positions since 1996.

Arvest Mortgage and Central Mortgage have locations in Arkansas and Oklahoma. The companies regularly originate $1 billion-plus in mortgage loans annually, and currently service a combined $38 billion in mortgage loans.

“I am excited about the opportunity to lead our talented mortgage team into the future,” Plaisance said in a news release. “Arvest is dedicated to serving mortgage customers through originations and servicing, and I look forward to continuing the many good things we have done in these areas.”

Plaisance will report to Arvest Bank COO Phil Porter.
