Stone Bank on Tuesday held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new headquarters in west Little Rock, celebrating the completion of a year-long, $8 million remodeling project.
The 39,000-SF, three-story building at 12615 Chenal Parkway was built in 1998 as the headquarters of Bank OZK. Stone Bank acquired the building in 2023 for $9.5 million. The purchase came after Stone Bank’s parent company, Stone Bancshares Inc., agreed to sell the company to a family of Missouri bankers.
Stone Bank said about 115 of its employees will work at the building. The bank will occupy the first two floors, while Shelter Insurance will occupy the third floor.
The building features four drive-through lanes, a new entryway and vestibule, new balconies on the north and east sides, and a completely renovated lobby.
“Remodeling this facility has been a long process and we are excited to provide a beautiful work environment for our employees and a new banking center for our customers,” CEO Nick Roach said in a statement.
East Harding Construction of Little Rock was the general contractor on the project.
Stone Bank reported $822.3 million in assets at the end of the third quarter of 2024. It has locations in Little Rock, Mountain View, Harrison, White Hall, DeWitt and Gillett.
