Matthew Stripling has been hired as the foundation director at Unity Health Hospital in Searcy. He pursued a career in cardiac rehabilitation and has a master’s in health care administration from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Dr. R. Jonathan Henderson has been hired as a urologist at Arkansas Urology in Little Rock.
Henderson obtained a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and received his medical degree from LSU Medical Center.
Phyllis Bell has been hired as the executive director of the Arkansas Residential Assisted Living Association in Little Rock.
Bell previously served in the office of Gov. Asa Hutchinson.
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Northwest Arkansas Behavioral Health Clinic in Fayetteville has announced the hiring of Dr. Aaron Carson and Dr. Brian Mooney as outpatient psychiatrists.
Carson graduated from the UAMS College of Medicine in 2012 and completed a residency in psychiatry at UAMS in 2016.
Mooney graduated from Rhodes College with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 1996 and completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma at Tulsa.
Dr. Pebbles Fagan, a leading expert on tobacco-related health disparities at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, has received the Society for Research on Nicotine & Tobacco’s President’s Award.
Fagan was recognized by the organization for her decades of scientific excellence and efforts to combat health inequities related to nicotine and tobacco use.
