Subaru of LR Announces 23,000-SF Expansion

1 min read

Subaru of Little Rock will be offering customers a little more legroom with a 23,000-SF expansion of its headquarters at 12121 Col. Glenn Road.

Bailey Construction & Consulting LLC, led by Gus Vratsinas, will be doing the work, according to Jesse Munn, chief financial officer of the Winrock Auto Group of Little Rock. Munn said the service and parts operations would also get more space.

“The expansion is primarily of our service and parts operations and our customer lounge area,” Munn told Whispers on Thursday. “It will almost double the size of our service facility, adding additional parts storage square footage, and it expands our lounge and adds a cafe for our customers.”

Munn said he wasn’t at liberty to say how much the auto group, led by Lisenne Rockefeller of Winrock Group Inc., was investing in the project. But Munn hopes to open the expanded facility in the spring of 2024.

Subaru of Little Rock was also recently named for the fourth year in a row to the Pleiades Club, honored by the Subaru Corp. of Japan as one of the nation’s top 25 dealerships in sales, service and parts, Munn said. “The stars on the Subaru logo represent the Pleiades constellation,” he said, explaining the origin of the club name. In Japan, the six-star cluster itself is known by the name Subaru.
