Sullivan’s Steakhouse Opening First Arkansas Location at Promenade at Chenal

1 min read

Denver-based Sullivan’s Steakhouse is planning to open its first Arkansas location early next year at the Promenade at Chenal in west Little Rock.

The restaurant will be 9,100 SF and will occupy the former Del Frisco’s Grille site, according to Newmark Moses Tucker Partners, which manages and leases property at the lifestyle center.

Del Frisco’s closed in 2018. There were rumors afterward that another steakhouse chain, Ruth’s Chris, was considering moving in to the space, but that didn’t happen.

Sullivan’s, which is named after boxer John Lawrence Sullivan, serves classic American cuisine. The location at the Promenade at Chenal will be its 14th in the country. It will include an expansive indoor bar serving an array of signature cocktails. The restaurant will also host live jazz music.

The future of another restaurant at the Promenade at Chenal remains unclear. The West Virginia-based chain Pies & Pints, which serves pizza and craft beer, was announced in February 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic upended the economy. It was supposed to open that summer in the former Tavern Sports Grill location but is still listed as “coming soon” on the Promenade at Chenal website.

Chris Moses, president and CEO of Newmark Moses Tucker Partners, said Wednesday that he didn’t have update on the restaurant.
