Super Mover: Kevin Fitzgerald

Kevin Fitzgerald has been promoted to new executive vice president of Murphy Oil Corp. of El Dorado. 

Background: Prior to starting at Murphy Oil as assistant treasurer of its New Orleans subsidiary in 1982, Fitzgerald earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans. He is also a certified public accountant.

Experience: After moving to El Dorado from New Orleans in 1992, Fitzgerald was promoted to director of investor relations, then to treasurer in 2001. He became senior vice president and chief financial officer in 2007.

New Job: In his new position, Fitzgerald will report to Murphy Oil President and CEO David Wood. In addition to his new responsibilities as executive vice president, Fitzgerald will continue to serve as chief financial officer and will oversee the corporation’s financial activities, including all treasury, tax and accounting functions.
