Background: After receiving his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Fortner earned his nuclear medicine certification from Baptist Hospital and a master’s in health services administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Experience: Fortner comes to CDI with 22 years of senior executive health care experience, including serving as CEO of Saline Memorial Hospital at Benton and various senior positions at St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs.
New Position: As a health services specialist in CDI’s Business Development Department, Fortner will be responsible for creating business relationships in the health care sector. His leadership expertise will be an added service to prospective and active CDI clients. He will help with health care facility planning and in developing construction projects.
