Supply chain issues have pushed back the opening of a project led by Fidel & Co. Coffee Roasters owner Fidel Samour’s Remolinos Group LLC.
Spring had been the targeted opening date for Sterling Market, a food hall-style restaurant in Little Rock’s East Village that Whispers first told you about in November.
But Remolinos Group spokesperson Taylor Stokes tells Whispers they’ve had trouble acquiring equipment and furniture for the space. Delays have led to a new opening date in late summer.
Sterling Market is located at the former Cathead’s Diner site at 515 Shall Ave. It will host four different food options, including a butcher shop, a greens/sandwiches station, an artisan pizza station and a bakery, as well as a full bar and a grab-and-go area selling to-go food and locally made goods.
Meanwhile, Remolinos is moving ahead on another project, reported last week at arkansasbusiness.com: a co-working space called Stoko that includes a second Fidel & Co. Coffee location.
