Talk Business Arkansas Expands to NWA

1 min read

Roby Brock’s Talk Business Arkansas brand is expanding into northwest Arkansas.

The expansion of the magazine, radio, TV and Web product was announced on the company’s website in July.

Along with the expansion come several changes at the company.

Among them: A new reporter, Kerri Jackson Case, is joining the site in September as managing editor. Case, a freelance journalist, has previously worked in TV reporting and public relations.

Also, the company’s TV news segment will gain slots with two affiliate stations, KNWA-TV, Channel 50, of Rogers and KFTA-TV, Channel 27, of Fort Smith.

KNWA anchor J.R. Davis will help Talk Business cover both national and northwest Arkansas political news.

Finally, Michael Tilley, editor of partner digital news provider The City Wire of Rogers, will contribute to both TV and radio reports as part of the expansion.

“It is a growing region of the state and its influence will continue to have an impact on the state as a whole,” Brock said in an email.

“Also, our NBC and Fox affiliates have sister stations in that market, so it made sense to find a way to expand our reach into northwest Arkansas through this partnership.”
