Dr. Shrikant Tamhane has joined Baptist Health Specialty Clinic of North Little Rock as an endocrinologist. Tamhane received his doctorate from B.J. Medical College in Pune, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Medstar Good Samaritan Hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore. Tamhane also completed fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism and nutrition at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Julie Turner, an advanced practice registered nurse, has joined Baptist Health Breast Center’s Health High Risk Breast & Hereditary Cancer Clinic in Little Rock. Turner received her doctorate of nursing practice at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
John Hutchison has been appointed as director of nursing for system clinics at Washington Regional of Fayetteville after serving as interim director. He is responsible for clinical oversight and training of the clinic nursing staff throughout 55 clinic locations. He has 20 years of nursing experience and has served various roles at Washington Regional.
Joshua Ayres has joined the board of directors of the Arkansas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ayres, a strategic business consultant, is vice president of client success at First Orion of North Little Rock.
