Conway-based internet provider TCW announced Tuesday an $8 million infrastructure project to bring fiber internet service to the city of Magnolia.
Construction is expected to begin during the first quarter of 2025 and conclude by the end of the year. The project aims to provide a 100% fiber connection to every home and business in the city, offering internet service and customer support to Magnolia’s nearly 12,000 residents.
With the fiber build out, TCW will also expand its in-house construction, installation and repair teams, providing new job opportunities in Magnolia.
TCW’s plans include building a 100% buried fiber network with up to 8 Gig service.
“The connection with TCW is important for Magnolia’s future,” Magnolia Mayor Parnell Vann said in a press release. “We are always proud when we get a chance to work with Arkansas based companies like TCW that give back to the communities they serve.”
TCW handles all operations in-house, including sales, installation, repair and support.
“We are honored to be Magnolia’s fiber internet provider,” TCW CEO Brad Brannon said in a press release. “Mayor Parnell Vann and the entire city have been wonderful partners in planning this project, and we are thrilled to be part of Magnolia’s bright future.”
