Since last week, the basketball signed by the 1994 Razorbacks NCAA championship team has been relisted on eBay, still at its original $70,000 price.
Also since then, the seller, mrs_gresham1, has responded to our questions about the ball.
"[My husband] won the basketball at a raffle back in 1994 while in high school," the seller said in an email. "He placed a $70,000 price on the ball to ensure that anyone who would not have the same passion for the Razorbacks as him would not get the basketball and put it to waste, so to speak.
"My husband is a die-hard Razorbacks fan and always will be. He has decided to sell the basketball so that someone else might have the chance to own such a historical piece of Razorback history, who might possibly enjoy it more than him; he is more of a football fan, but Razorbacks are Razorbacks in this family, no matter the sport!"
The ball is listed for another month, if you have some spare change lying around.
