Bentonville-based breakfast chain The Buttered Biscuit announced plans to expand to Little Rock with two new locations.
The chain said it’s opening a location at the Promenade at Chenal in the second quarter of 2024 and a location in the Heights neighborhood at 5018 Kavanaugh Blvd., next door to Heights Corner Market, in the second half of 2024.
The Buttered Biscuit, founded in 2017, is known for its scratch-made biscuits, sausage gravy, homemade jams, house-made butters, and an array of gluten-free options. It has four locations in northwest Arkansas.
Anna Russell, co-founder of the chain, said in a statement, “Opening these locations in Little Rock is a dream come true. I believe in the power of a shared meal to create lasting connections, and we are excited to become a part of the breakfast traditions in this vibrant city.
“There’s a unique joy in creating a space where people can gather, enjoy a delicious meal, and feel at home. Bringing The Buttered Biscuit to Little Rock allows us to extend that joy and create new memories with the amazing people of this city.”
